Hard Floor Care
Wood, LVP and laminate cleaned without the haze that mopping leaves.
Most dull hardwood is not damaged — it is coated. Household floor cleaners and steam mops leave a film that builds up layer on layer until the floor looks cloudy and feels slightly tacky underfoot. We strip that build-up off with the minimum moisture the floor can take, and leave the finish itself untouched.
Dry time
Typically 20–60 minutes. A refresher coat needs the room left alone overnight.

The method
Step by step, and why each one matters.
Any of these can be skipped to save fifteen minutes. Skipping them is the difference between a clean that lasts a year and one that lasts a month.

Identify the finish
Site-finished polyurethane, factory UV-cured, oiled, wax, LVP or laminate. Each one has a different limit.

Dry first
Grit on a wood floor is sandpaper. It comes off before any liquid goes down.
- 03
Dissolve the build-up
A cleaner that targets acrylic and soap film rather than the finish underneath.

Recover immediately
Applied and removed in the same pass. Water sitting in a seam is how a plank floor cups.
- 05
Refresh if suitable
On the right polyurethane floor, a refresher coat restores sheen and buys years. On the wrong one it peels, so we check.
