Accessibility

Built to be usable, and open to being told otherwise.

We have aimed at WCAG 2.2 AA. Aiming at it is not the same as hitting it on every page, so if something here does not work for you we want to know.

What is in place

  • Every page works with the keyboard alone, and the focus outline is deliberately visible rather than removed.
  • A "skip to content" link is the first thing a keyboard or screen-reader user reaches.
  • The FAQ uses native disclosure elements, so it behaves correctly with assistive technology and works with JavaScript switched off.
  • All motion — scroll reveals, smooth scrolling, the background video — is disabled automatically when your system is set to reduce motion.
  • The background video is decorative, silent, and never the only way to get information.
  • Text contrast targets WCAG 2.2 AA against every background used on the site.
  • Content is readable and usable down to 320px wide and at 200% zoom.
  • Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced rather than only shown in color.
